Ford Displays New Eco Sport Compact SUV at Indian Auto Expo

The auto market in India is experiencing extremely robust growth and Ford is working hard to get their fair share of the pie. For the first time since 2006, the American automaker decided to showcase at the New Delhi Auto Expo. Not only did they decide to attend...They presented their largest, most impressive display ever, including a debut of the all-new Eco Sport compact SUV.
The Ford Eco Sport compact SUV, which shares much of its framework with the new Ford Fiesta now available to drivers in Baltimore, is slated to go on sale first in Asian countries (i.e., New Delhi) and then in South American countries (i.e., Brazil).
While Ford drivers in Baltimore likely won't have the opportunity to drive the new Eco Sport, unless traveling overseas, we are nevertheless highly enthusiastic over the car's debut. It represents the dawn of a new era for Ford...In another eight or so years, the Blue Oval anticipates that over a third of the company's global sales will be from Asia - that's double what it is today.
You're right to assume Ford will face tough competition. However, the Eco Sport is but one of the weapons they have in their arsenal. Another is a hefty $1,000,000,000 investment in two new Indian manufacturing plants as well as the addition of approximately 7,500 employees. Given their resources and strong determination, we're confident they'll succeed.
Eager to learn more about what Ford has in store for India and other developing markets worldwide? Norris Ford, located at 901 Merritt Blvd. Baltimore, MD, is too, and promises to bring you all late-breaking details A.S.A.P. So, stay tuned!
